Edwards debate should help Kerry in Wisconsin
Edited on Mon Oct-04-04 11:58 PM by JohnnyCougar
Edwards almost won the primary here...I am a little disturbed at the latest polls here. But if Edwards puts in a solid performance to follow up Kerry's I think this state will be in the bag.

on edit: I forgot the word "almost"

1. yesyesyesyesyes
he should spend TONS of time there

he's a MUCH more effective/attractive campaigner

he's NEEDED there, perhaps more than any other state, besides Ohio

Does anyone know where Kucinich is? Is he helping out Kerry at all? I'd imagine he'd help in parts of Ohio.

7. It's very close here...actually W has a slight advantage right now
We have a bunch of gun nuts in the rural parts of this state. Out of all the Gore states of 2000, I think this one is in jeapoardy the most.

8. I have a couple of friends here in Illininois who have already
voted. They are going to Wisconsin on election day to work to get out the vote. I think ACT and some other organizations will be there to help on election day.

My daughter voted in Wisconsin in the last one. She said it was very close, that Gore took it by a small margin.

Keep your fingers crossed.
