Electoral-voting.com question
Hi. I was wondering: how does this site work? How do they do counts? Do they do it by party alone? If so then I know a few republicans who are voting for Kerry myself (my mom and grandparents). I was just wondering how the site worked and if it's been right in the past (like the last election) and who runs it etc. Thanks.

2. If you mean electoral-vote.com
It uses the latest poll from each state, regardless of reliability or affiliation. This includes a lot of unsavory results like Strategic Vision. Just yesterday he put in a averagey thing, so it's not -just- the latest from each state. The owner is openly for Kerry, but doesn't alter the stats to show it.

3. Actually, he just changed his methodology
He now averages the latest three polls for each state.

5. Thanks
I was wondering about them. It now shows Kerry has 200 and Bush has 321. Just the other day it showed higher number. :\

6. ya....
He averages polls in the 7 days, so if there was 3 polls 8 days ago and just 1 in the last 7 days that is the only one that is counted. It must be understood that many of the polls posted are not as reliable as other polls. Zogby, Rasmussen, and American Research Group are the most reliable. Also realize that rasmussen continually changes, so it is best to gage over a week and not over a day.
