It's not just "527's" now.! American Spectator Mag advertising Anti-Kerry
book "Unfit for Command" along with anti Clinton/Dem photo's in it's promo to buy it's magazine all over CNN, MSNBC this weekend. And, I don't watch cables except for occasional checks. Yet I saw probably 6 ads for "American Spectator" which showed cartoonish photos of Clinton/Gore/everyone with scandal headlines and the finish was a photo of "Unfit for Command" with Kerry.

"American Spectator" was the Scaife funded, David Brock rag that was after Clinton and started the whole witch "Hunting of the President."
This ad is no more than an attack ad slithering through like the "527's"

Also: I have my concerns about those "9/11 Silver Coin" ads with pieces of silver from the Fallen Towers embedded in them. Why now? Did it take two years for them to put out these coins? Isn't it just to remind everyone just before the Election about 9/11 "Changing Everything?" The "Silver Coin" ads are EVERYWHERE!

We should be aware of this and what's behind it.

1. The American Spectator's publisher is Alfred S. Regnery,
whose company also publishes the "Unfit for Command" book. Convenient, isn't it?

4. Exactly....it's that Campaign Finance Reform and Media Dereg are
allowing inconsistencies which favor Repugs over Dems. The "Spectator Ad" is nothing but an ad for "Unfit for Command" disguised as Magazine Advertising. Yet, CNS wouldn't run a Reagan Movie or it's Debunk of the Niger Yellowcake Nuke story, and CNN wouldn't run "9/11 DVD" Ads.

What's the difference between Moore's Movie getting sold as a DVD and Spectator's Publisher Regnery selling ads for it's latest RW Book "Unfit for Command?"

5. I can't decide if having to give that book away
Is a good thing or a bad thing. Are they giving it away for free because they want it in as many hands as possible? Is that damn book still selling well anyway? Or are they reacting to the Upriver movie and trying to counteract it?

I hate seeing Unfit for Command anywhere, but to buy that magazine in the first place you have to be pretty far into the Neocon camp. No votes lost.

The thing about the 9/11 coin that gets me is it's in such supremely poor taste. They're making a profit off the backs of the dead. How sick is that.

6. "Making a buck on backs of dead" is what the Bush/Cheney's do...so the
coin just re-enforces the sadness of 9/11 which works to Bush's advantage as the leader who avenged the deaths of those who were burned alive in WTC.

That's what it's designed to do...bring you to tears and keep it all alive. It's in horrible poor taste...but we all have seen it and been affected by it because it puts the image in our mind.

These people will stop at nothing to psychologically mess with our minds. Fortunately most DU'ers don't buy their stuff we aren't good candidates for brainwashing...but we are unusual. :-(

7. Dems/liberal 527s wasting their money if they advertise in the Spectator
It would be like BushCo advertising in The Nation. It would be a waste of money and time.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. Nobody who reads the Spectator is going to vote for Kerry/Edwards. We can use the resources elsewhere where they actually have a chance of making a difference.
