Another thing to call the TV whores about re: campaign coverage
Most of the TV whores-- on cable especially, but also the networks and even NPR-- seem to have devised into yet another, more bubtle, way to prop up the chimp, settling into the following format to broadcast their stories.

30 seconds of bush message and/or attacks on Kerry, almost always with video clips of the chimp or his surrogates.

15 seconds of Kerry message and/or response, often with clips but too often just the newscaster or reporter articulating the Kerry position (Now, wolf, the Kerry campaign says...")

Another 10 seconds of chimp's attack on Kerry's response, usually repeated by the newscaster or reporter, but sometimes with clips.

A typical CNN report might look like this:

Candy: Wolf, the president spoke to about a thousand supporters today, rallying them around his economic message of tax cuts and personal ownership.

{Clip of Chimp drivel}

He also called John Kerry a tax and spend liberal who would raise taxes on working families

(Clip of Chimp attack}

The Kerry camp called the attacks baseless and repeated their position that Kerry would raise taxes on only the top 1 percent of taxpayers. Tomorrow Kerry will hold a town hall meeting in Columbus, Ohio.

Bush campaign officials said that not making the tax cuts permanent amounts to a tax increase on all taxpayers. And that's the message the president will be repeating in the days to come. Wolf?

Wolf: Thanks Candy. Next: Will Al Queda try to disrupt the election? We'll ask Department of Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge and Democratic Senator Joe Lieberman.
