Darth Vader was a friend of mine, and let me tell you, you're no Darth Vader.

Seriously, if it comes up, Edwards should draw the analogy to Princess Leia, or however you spell it, since Cheney has required so much protection from all those EvilDoers that we hardly even see him in public.

Fuck Cheney. Er, Fuck Fuck. Er, Cheney Cheney. Oh never mind.

I seriously hope Edwards can find a way to remind people of his profanity on the Senate floor, or even to enrage him into one of his ugly snarls.

I know it's a bad idea to get overconfident, but I have a goooooood feeling about how Johnny Sunshine is going to do in this one. Bush and Cheney needed each other as "Mr. Likeable but Green and Mr. Nasty but Experienced." The other half of that myth just collapsed at the last debate, so Cheney is going to have to seem at least a bit likeable to make up for it, and he is constitutionally incapable of likeability, up against one of the most "I'd have a beer with him" politicians in my memory.
