How wide a release is this film getting? Do we need to make ourselves acquainted with it, or is it just a Repub. fringe event that won't be hitting the mainstream? The site suggests the latter:

That will only appeal to the super hardcore brainwashed repugs! Not even the whole 40 % of them.
I can't find that piece of garbage opening anywhere.
It will be very limited release and won't last long because Academy Award season is upon us. That's when the studios release all of thier good stuff and all the crap gets washed out of theatres.

This is not even a "blip" on the political spectrum!

Edit: I searched all of my movie theatre data bases and it does not even come up in the search engines!

They could also make that statement, then send it to theatres. Not showing it would show the "Hollywood liberal bias" and make themsleves out as victims to their contemporarie.

Remember that Moore had the backing of the Weinstein's at Miramax on top of his duly acquired infamy. Even Moore had the taste to leave the images of the planes crashing into the WTC out of his film.

According to "Box Office Mojo," it is scheduled for national release this month and is being backed by some serious money. No further details.

Michael Moore and his anti-President Bush documentary Fahrenheit 9/11 are prime targets in this weekend's Liberty Film Festival, billed as Hollywood's first openly conservative festival.

The documentary Celsius 41.11, which features interviews and clips to counter Moore's 9/11 claims, is among several films aimed at Moore.

Also showing: Michael & Me, a film defending the right to own guns and attacking Moore's 2002 documentary on America's fascination with guns, Bowling for Columbine. Also showing: Michael Moore Hates America, a film by Mike Wilson.

actually not sure to which of us you're referring. however, in the interest of full disclosure,

(a)tesibria is a lifelong nickname derived from teresa and sibre (the uncle who i adored). no hidden meaning, no incantation of god.

(b)I've voted in every election in which I was eligible to vote, and have voted, consistently, per a progressive agenda - which, to date in national politics anyway, has meant democratic.

(c)I am new here; discovered it thanx to friend, Paul Thompson, and Air America Radio. And, I'm loving it. But maybe I should just censor myself until i figure out the "rules." I must just not "get" some of this.

Actually we are a friendly group but occasionally a Freeper takes advantage of us and makes us skittish. Freepers come here to cause trouble and are usually loud and offensive. So to keep this a friendly place they have to be identified and alerted before they start spewing venom.
