Does Kerry need to have an Inner-faith conference? |
|
Bush is getting votes because he "seeks Gods advice on a daily basis" ... :eyes:
I think Kerry needs to play the "GOD" card folks.
I think Kerry could do this in a way that is respectful of many faiths. His brother Cameron converted to Judiasm and Kerry is a Catholic.
I think he should reach out and say he'll represent people of all faiths/beliefs ... that he'll represent "Americans" and that while his faith is strong, he won't wear it on his sleeve, and/or alienate those that are not of the same belief system.
What say you?

1. As long as an interfaith conference includes humanists & atheists, I'm OK |
|
with it.
The non-religious are 16% of the population, a bigger percentage than any group except for Catholics. Ignoring us is like ignoring the Baptists, the Pentacostals, the Church of Christ and the Mormons together.
The Interfaith Alliance won't talk to us when we wish to make common cause.... maybe Kerry can do better.

Like I said, he needs to stress that he represents ALL of America.
