New Fox News Poll Chimp 47% Kerry 45%
YAWN.......We're suppose to believe Bush actually gained support since last week.

And their saying Bush leads among independants 50-41. YAWN

That's no change from their last poll. Keep in mind, an incumbent at 47 is not in good shape. I'm also dubious about the indy numbers. I suspect it's about even.

47% is the red zone for Bush--he won't get to 49% if that's his actual support.

4. Where's The Panic Line?
Yep...below 50% on a Faux poll at this late date...and we know he wasn't helped the last week is not a good sign, and I'm sure Rove has "real" numbers that show an even worse picture.

I'm wondering where the line is where you'll start seeing the Rove Machine go into panic mode...it could be the "October Surprise" or it might be like '92 where things just implode and the campaign runs out of gas in the last week or two.

There's a point where the "die-hards" will get disenchanted with the manchild's stagnant or fading poll numbers. As usual, when this boy hits a high water mark, he almost immediately goes into a downward spin...and now each "spike" is smaller and evaporates faster.
