"You should be ashamed to be a Democrat."
I hope she gets canned.

PERMANENTLY!!!

McCartney said Pillai-Diaz once told pupils she was "glad they were not old enough to vote" and told one student, "You should be ashamed to be a Democrat."

Pillai-Diaz said she does not talk about politics with students. "You would have to be incredibly stupid to say those things to a student," she told the Home News Tribune of East Brunswick for Tuesday's newspapers.

13. i spent an hour at public school yesterday
another baptist principle. though she says she likes diversity. so tired of religion everywhere. but god is christian. that seems to be the message from a handful of adults, talking this to them.

my kids have already become so ostrasized. but i am going into the principles this week, to talk about that and kerry not christian, and kids that go to public school are ungodly. yup yup yup

kinda stuck in this school right now. the upside, my children easily recognize the cult like enviroment. just started last spring. knew i wasnt going to do well here this year. tried to get them out, but cant until next school year.

a california stuck in texas. principle yesterday said, you are not from around here, where are you from

not her mind. Then sued the sh*t out of her. :wtf: gives her the idea she can do something so stupid. Opinions are like A$$holes and she just proved she is one.
On Edit: She is pulling the same thing as Bush, she is missing the point and twisting the fact that she screwed up. What is wrong with these people?

7. two points
1) A republican making a public school teacher's salary? Must have married rich.

2) "You would have to be incredibly stupid to say those things to a student,"

She's right about that.

10. What a mouth on her
If my teacher had ever said something like that I would have argued the issue with her. My 10th grade science teacher once told our class that men were smarter than women because their brains were bigger. I said, "does that mean elephants are smarter than men?" and got myself in the Principal's office. The Principal said, "sometimes the students are smarter than the teachers." I guess he got a good laugh about that!

She's lucky a kid didn't raise his hand and say, "How come we never heard God was a Republican in Sunday School?"

14. My son has been hit with major pro Bush, pro Repuke crap....
My 12 year old came home recently and said, hey Dad you should have heard all the kids talking how great Bush was. He then showed me his history text book after the teacher in class was glorifying Bush's holy war on terrorism world wide. I could get the text and cite you the language...but it essential formed an historical appreciation for the "Bush Doctrine" in which Bush would go after terrorism in other countries where terrorism was breeding. It was extremely leading and not appropriate for his 7th grade teaching.

Hey....they have succeeded in controlling the media....why not the teaching system too. It's ripe for exploitation. One of the essential problems with our school system today is that they have co opted bad business practices. They are therefore a large part of the way towards adopting general bad teaching principles. It's not that the teachers are not up to snuff technically...that's a joke...it's the fact that the administration, the business part of the school is lacking in ability to ensure a quality product. In middle class America...in my neck of the woods...the admin has way too much control...and a culture of kiss ass/fall in line. Every teacher is more or less the same in approach, and ineffective. In the old days when I went to school, teachers modified their approach on the fly and got results on who they were dealing with, with what subjects, and with what individuals. Today the teachers are not empowered with an environment in which they can teach...so they don't care how well they teach.
