19. I guarantee you they're coaching up that moron like mad for the next ...
debate. Rove: "No George. Not giving love to the widow is hard work. Jeez you stupid f*ck. How many times do I have to tell you something until you get it through your thick head. Now let's try it again...."

6. Actually -- Documents Reveal Gaps in Bush's Service as President
Edited on Tue Oct-05-04 02:29 PM by 56kid

WASHINGTON, DC—Freshly unearthed public documents, ranging from newspapers to cabinet-meeting minutes, seem to indicate large gaps in George W. Bush's service as president, a spokesman for the watchdog group Citizens for an Informed Society announced Monday.

"We originally invoked the Freedom Of Information Act to request material relating to Bush's spotty record while in office," CIS director Catherine Rocklin said. "But then we realized that the information was readily available at the corner newsstand, on the Internet, and from our friends and neighbors who pay attention to the news."

According to Rocklin, the most damning documents were generated at roughly one-day intervals during a period beginning in January 2001 and ending this week. The document's sources include, but are not limited to, the U.S. newspaper The New York Times, the London-based Economist magazine, and the well-known international business and finance record, The Wall Street Journal.

"Factual data presented in these publications indicates that Bush took little or no action on issues as widely varied as the stalled economy, increasing violence in post-war Iraq, and the lagging public education system," Rocklin said. "The newsprint documents also reveal huge disparities between the ways Bush claimed to have served Medicare patients, and what he actually did."

16. Gap in service
to #6:

Even though it's The Onion, a paper that is purely humor and farce, it's kind of scary how true that article is. Another Onion article I read right after Bush was sworn in was titled "Bush Promises Nightmare of Peace and Prosperity Over"

8. he's ill or frightened

two pieces of evidence and an atmospheric factor:

1.) postponement of medical exam till after election

2.) pathetic performance in first debate

3.) controlled environment for last three years

14. Well, the poor guy had to work almost 5 days last week!
He doesn't usually have to do that! Then you have to remember, they made him stay up past his beddie by time just to stand there and listen to Kerry insult him in that damn debate last Thursday! That's real hard ...work.

17. I bet he ain't taking a break
I bet he's deep in debate prep. Betcha Rove has a BIG bag of M & Ms and a big bundle of switches. Every time Duhbya struts and says "we're winning the war on terra", he gets an M & M, and every time he looks like he did Thurs night, he gets a "whuppin".

22. Was President His First Real Job?
You mean to tell me that being leader of the free world is not an easy job? I'm reminded of a friend I once had that had gone for 15 years after graduating from college working in his Dad's firm.

His dad retired, sold the company, and junior had to find a real job. And he complained incessantly. It seemed that these other companies expected you to show up every day, on time, and do something productive. He had no experience working under the sort of scrutiny that the rest of us have lived with forever.

These days my friend is working for a modest hourly wage and hoping that Dad kicks off soon and makes him the lottery winner.

23. Bush is a lazy president, but not lazy campaigner
Has he taken any days off since the convention other than to prepare for the debate? John Kerry has taken 16 days off since the DNC. And if he takes anymore days off he should not be asking me for any more money to support his campaigns.

I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but Kerry just hasn't put the time into this race that Bush has lately, and we need him out there every possible minute.
