Rasmussen National Numbers and Premium Data for10/5 (3:15 PM EDT)
Rasmussen National Numbers are 47.9% for Bush and 47.0% for Kerry.

http://www.rasmussenreports.com

The above data is a three day rolling average, released daily. it represents the closest that Kerry has been since at least 9/27. It is a 2.7% increase in two days. as I said, the debate will take time to take hold and show in tracking data. In addition, Kerry's favorable is 51.4% and unfavorable is 47.1%. This is nearly identical to Bush's numbers of 51.6% favorable to 47.2% unfavorable.

Although Rasmussen is not there yet, the trend is unmistakable in Kerry's favor.

1. It is the closest Kerry has been in a while
and slowly but surely he is catching up. I think we will see many of the blue states where there has been some slippage, according to polls, firm up--states like Maryland, New Jersey and Illinois will probably begin to reflect double digit Kerry leads again.

Has "big mo" right now, if he can keep building on it for the next 4 weeks it will be KERRY IN A LANDSLIDE.

6. What we have here folks is a "horse race"...
and I am the bookie. *grin. At this point its even money on Kerry and 2-1 on Bush.*
