Edwards: Attack, attack, attack like there's no tomorrow!!!!
Think about it. There are two factors why Edwards should unload on Cheney like Kerry never could on Bush:

1) Cheney is the most publicly vulnerable person in *'s administration. The dude is still claiming that Saddam had WMDs and connections to Al Qaeda, he is on record predicting "we'll be greeted as liberators", and spends his free time telling people they'll be attacked by terrorists if they elect Kerry. Halliburton, and his false claim that he no longer holds any interest in their success. Energy meetings with Ken Lay, and Cheney fighting all the way to the Supreme Court to keep them secret. These aren't some vague consequences of Cheney's policies, these are his documented personal words and actions; no need to convince anybody they are true -- rather, the burden is on Cheney to show that they are justifiable... Hahahaha, good luck, sucka!

2) Cheney has many a nickname, yet none too affectionate: Darth Cheney, Crashcart, Satan are some I've heard. Edwards? The most hatred I've heard Freeptards muster is to call him a "girly man" and a "pretty boy". No matter how hard Edwards attacks, there's no way that he'll come across as a meanie against that huggable teddy-bear Cheney. If anything, he'll make Cheney hiss and snarl his way into uncharted waters of extreme "unlikeability". We have the ultimate sunny pretty boy against the ultimate dark shady ghoul.

So, now's the time to let it all hang.

Get the pop corn.

1. True,and on top of that
I listened to Edwards' brother-in-law on AAR this morning and he said that Edwards has a way of expressing very critical, biting sentences in a neutral manner. So I don't think there is a threat that Edwards will come out as the negative one.

2. He's a trial lawyer. After tonight, you'll know the REAL reason they...
... hate trial lawyers.

3. re: "snarl his way into uncharted waters of extreme "unlikeability".
Edwards needs to rake Cheney over Halliburton! If Edwards prods Cheney enough Cheney migh make one of those "Go F--- Yourself" speeches he's so famous for! Edwards should at least pester Cheney until his lying lips turn bright blue and he has to pop some Nitro!

4. Indeed --
and all he would have to do to "pester" him is just mention them magic words. PNAC, Halliburton, Ken Lay. Oh, boy, I can't wait. They may have to defibrillate that cybertronic lymph pump he calls his "heart".

7. I wonder if Cheney will be stupid enough to mention Edwards' inexperience.
One of the few things Cheney has going for him is that he has far more governmental and foreign policy experience than John Edwards. That's a fact. And you just KNOW he wants to fall back on that. Well, I hope he does.

He'll say that 6 years isn't enough political experience to serve as Vice President. Unless you're a Republican, and your Daddy was already President. Then you can move right into the Number One spot. As long as the Supreme Court says so.

And don't think Edwards won't unload on him for a screw-up like that. Don't think for a moment. Heh.
