Fill up the tank of your car on or before November 2nd, because... |
|
On November 3rd, whoever wins, gasoline prices will SKYROCKET!
Think about it: Oil is selling at an ALL TIME high price per barrel, and yet our gas prices are still hovering in the low end of the $2/gallon range (about $2.20 or so where I am in SoCal). So, that indicates that there's plenty of room in the Big Oil profit margin to adjust prices when need be.
So, Big Oil is keeping gas prices low in order to help their boys in Washington. If their boys are reeelected, then they can take off the kid gloves. Same if Kerry wins.
Be ready for gas in $3/gallon range in November or December. And it'll be blamed on Kerry if he is elected. I can hear the RW talking points already, "The market doesn't have confidence in Kerry's ability to handle the economy. THAT'S why we're seeing this spike in gas prices. You'll notice Bush kept gas prices in a more reasonable range." Mark my words, this is the shit we'll be hearing.

4. not necessarily, oil traded globally |

but B*sh's pals in the Saudi royal family & Big Oil may very well be artificially deflating the price of crude as long as they know they can stick it to us good after the election.

6. It is over 50$ a barrel already.. |

Now there may be manipulation within the USA, but I can't see how the price can get any higher on the market. I hae traveled and noticed that prices here do not seem to be increasing with the price on the market.

The sooner we have to start paying real word prices for gas the sooner we will get serious about alternative fuels and alternative forms of transportation.
I'll worry when the price of air for my bicycle tires goes over a penny a pound.
