Went to Montreal for the weekend. THEY HATE BUSH!
Many Kerry/Edwards stickers on the drive up (and on the way back). Smatterings of */c support (those stupid "W04" stickers)

While in Montreal, the hotel people all were Kerry supporters. Overwhelmingly, the folks I encountered at the hotel wanted to talk politics. I was pleased. People in the stores when they foulnd out we were from Boston all asked about the Red Sox and then our upcoming election.

North of the border folks, this is big news. They watch the "debates" and really want Kerry to win.

2. We were in Quebec City this summer -- Kerry County!
When people saw that we were Americans, the first question they asked was "Who do you want for president". They were always very relieved when we said Kerry. I have found the people of Canada to have a better understanding of our politics than most people I talk to here!

4. Of course they do, they're French LOL
Sorry, could not resist....former Montrealer here. It is my understanding that all of Canada is massively behind Kerry. And they are the most affected by whomever is in the WH. They are very aware of all the news down here. I do not think I have had a phone conversation with a relative or friend in the past year where the election was not discussed.
