2ND DEBATE MODERATOR HAS TIES TO BUSH!, PROTEST & PASS THIS ON QUICK!!!
Snipped from a blogger's comment on: www.washingtonnote.com

"I'm sure that you know this already, but Bob Schieffer, the moderator at
the 2nd debate, is the brother of Tom Schieffer who was president of the
Texas Rangers under Bush's ownership. Bob is the older brother and has
always acted in the role of Tom's father. I knew them both many years ago. I
think that it is only fair that Bob disclose his relationship to the
President at the outset of! the next debate."
(I think we need to broadcast this information, far and wide)

Media Alert. Debate moderator has ties to Bush!
Here is the phone number for the Commission of Presidential Debates who, I
am assuming, was instrumental in choosing the moderators:

contact the Commision on Presidential Debates at (202) 872-1020. I couldn't
find a place to E-mail them on their Website.

(I just now called them, left brief messages on both their regular line and
24-hour line...can also leave message if you finally hit "0" for
Operator...no one is there, then it asks you to leave message. I briefly
told them this scoop, and that they should have Schieffer announce his
connections...and BETTER YET, a new Moderator should be chosen, even if it
means delaying the Debate.)

Amongst a few others, a good-Kerry-deed for the day!

2. Both sides signed the contracts. They agreed.
There's nothing we can do about this now. And I don't think it'll make a bit of difference anyway.

Chill.

7. We're not voting for Bob Schieffer.
He's the moderator, and until we see differently, we have to trust him to be impartial.

10. Funny freepers complain about the moderator when Kerry wins
They complain the questions are to hard on Bush and not on Kerry. They even complained that the moderator was Biased. They also go about trying to bring up about the pen. Yet when we have proof of a connection we just sit on it. Here they call us the crazy ones LOL

5. But...does the Prez of Texas Rangers LIKE *?
That's not necessarily a given.

I'm sure that * already knows of the relationship. As does Kerry.

9. Tom Schieffer, the US ambassador to Australia and Bob's brother
is a democrat. A dickhead but a democrat.

"ANDREW DENTON: Thank you, even though you are a lifetime Democrat, you are great friends with the very Republican George Bush. You became friends and business partners through the Texas Rangers baseball team. Why did you two get on?

TOM SCHIEFFER, US AMBASSADOR TO AUSTRALIA: We just hit it off. We had been involved in different groups that were trying to buy the local baseball team. Sports franchises in the United States are different than here in Australia in that they are bought and sold like businesses. And we were in competing groups and his group got the letter of intent to buy the team, and he called me up after that and said would I be interested in still investing. I said, "Well, probably not." Because I thought they were going to try to mark it up to the next set of sellers. He said, "If you came in on the same basis that we did, would you be interested?" And I said "Yeah, I might be." I met him, and we set up an instant friendship.

17. The difference between Bush and Kerry...
Is that Kerry isn't afraid of tough questions. So what if the moderator is biased? I'm confident that Kerry can handle anything thrown at him and has no problem taking questions from people who haven't signed loyalty oaths.
