Which networks are airing the VP debate with split screen
so you can see both candidates at the same time? Are some networks not doing this? I have no idea how to find this information. I'm trying to figure which on would be the best to tape ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS. ABC has the best reception, but I'll tape another channel if they are not doing split screen.

2. There isn't likely to be a split-screen view to be found anywhere.
The debate this evening will be townhall-meeting style. However, I don't know the specifics, like whether or not Edwards & Cheney will be seated throughout; in that case, perhaps there could be use for a split screen.

In any case, C-Span is the place to watch it; unfiltered & no talking heads to contaminate the information.

3. Do you have Cable?..
CSpan most likely will, but it varies its station depending on the cable company. They were all doing it somewhat last year, except I think for PBS.

4. For those who don't have cable, C-Span has streaming video
at their site, www.cspan.org, for RealOne or Windows users.

6. I think they
will be sitting at a table--very social like. So I doubt there will be a split screen. Have you seen Cheney's 2000 debate with Lieberman? It will probably look very similar. (I doubt it will be as exciting as the presidential debate--the format of sitting is part of making it seem friendly and low-key, like they are appearing on a Sunday Talk Show, not at a debate.)

7. I doubt split screens will be used again - it was too harmful for
the shrub -- bad networks, bad media.

It is a sit down debate at a table.
