At work this just keeps cropping up. We have technical meetings all the time, and when the discussion rolls around to something that isn't happening or working that needs to or whatever, all you have to do is say "Hey, it's hard work trying to figure this out" or whatever. Everyone smiles, a certain camaraderie is felt among us all, and after a few shouts of "mixed messages", we settle down. Thank you George!

But I know what you mean - I've set "hard work" lately and it's almost funny.
I've wondered what would have happened if Kerry would have realized the "hard work" mantra during the debate last week and said, "George, since you find the Presidency such 'hard work', I'll be giving you some time off starting January 20th 2005..."

We use that special whiny voice to say, "But it's hard work."
