Like moi...
I was in ROTC 81-85 and on active duty 85-91 and I don't recall any blatant politicalization of the Army in my time - it must have happend after Clinton became President - it's sad.

Army from 1992-2000, Guard now. The politicalization started when the shrub took office.

in the midwest. I ment no offense. I had a couple good friends in ROTC, and that's actually where I first heard the phrase.
No offense ment to anyone person in the military who is not a Nazi :hi:
But, I mean, C'mon... you have to admit that there are loads of testosterone laden nazi skinheads in the military. ;-)

... in LBN yesterday. According to the report, when the ROTC "leader" found the signs, he told the punks that they would put every one back tomorrow or he'd call the police. Sounds like at least the leadership has their head on straight.
Sorry, I don't have a link but you might be able to find the post with Search.

5. Sorry, none of this has hit the papers |
|
I only found out secondhand. I just find it appalling. It has been reported to the local Democratic headquarters and the proper authorities. I think there are people investigating it.
Some of the individuals may have gotten their signs back, but I don't know that for certain.
I am disgusted by it all.

8. Time to prosecute these thugs and have them barred from ROTC |

They should not be allowed in the military.

for embassy employees back during the Cold War. We had ROTC and they marched with dummy rifles. One day one got the idea that it would be funny to march in front of the Russian's gates with his dummy rifle. Got arrested and kicked out of ROTC for it.
But it WAS funny. It was funny because it was psycho.
That's the extent of my ROTC experience. Not too bad.
