Bush to give a televised speech tomorrow night to rebut Kerry from debate? |
|
Isn't this a violation of election laws? How can Bush get free, unabashed media coverage without Kerry being given the same equal time. Since when is a sitting president permitted to "redo" his debate performance with canned dialog?
What the hell is this? Where is the uproar????
Who can we complain to?

Equal time is no longer the "law of the land". Let's hope that Kerry brings that back.

4. Airing of this is an in-kind contribution to Bush's campaign over the |
|
limit unless they give equal time to Kerry. The cost of that much TV time is a tremendous contribution. Everyone call for the filing of charges unless they air an equally long Kerry speech.

Don't worry. Kerry will get his time in. The pathetic Bush has to be scripted and in a tightly controlled environment.

thinks that if this is aired, it will backfire in a major way--as long as it's framed as Bush's re-debate. Anyone agree?
Poor Bushie, that big bad Kerry man was so MEAN!

And I would hope that the Kerry campaign would talk about it in that light! Maybe he should'nt come out with a speech afterward. Leave Bush on the defensive! Can't act presidential without his handlers and is incapable of independent thought. Let Kerry's rebuttal come in the debate on Friday where we can once again see Bush's ignorance and anger. You can't change peronality. Bush's was evident last week!
I still think complaints should be made to the FEC if its covered on the major networks in prime time.

I haven't seen anything about this speech mentioned anywhere in the news (other than the Yahoo link). When is it supposed to be happen? Where? Who's covering it?

18. Matriarch Dorothy Walker taught her progeny to, "win at all cost but never |
|
appear to want to win". Her progeny, (GHWB), taught his progeny and GWB is wanting to "win at all cost" whether or not he appears to want to win.}(
