Guess the split screens won't be allowed again.
Ever since * lost because of his childish behavior at the 1st debate, it looks like the networks have been told that split screens should not be used.

1. They had it on C-SPAN
I mean, really - watch a commercial network for it? Hell no!

Neither Edwards or Cheney made asses of themselves 'off camera' tonight.

9. No, no asses
Edwards was slightly fidgety and drank a lot of water from that striking-looking blue cup. Darth had a semi-smirk on his face throughout the "middle hour", but he pretty much looks like that anyway, so I'm not sure if anybody noticed.

But I agree with you, R-Dog :), there was nothing like B*'s ludicrous performance. I think Edwards looked fidgety largely because Darth has an exceptionally stolid, immobile demeanor, and almost anybody would look caffeinated by comparison.

4. They used a split screen on ABC.
Not constantly, but they did get a lot of interesting reaction shots on both sides.

6. Were you watching when Cheney's screen went black?
I laughed out loud, the darkness had encompassed him completely at that point.

8. MSNBC had split for a short while; other times BOTH showed in the
shot without a split screen, so it was unnecessary.
