Wish JE had done more damage...but if anything it was another split screen looksey!
Who do you want in charge? A freakazoid who didn't deny the shit Edwards nailed himw with or the young looking guy who was swift on his feet?

6. Of course they are....GE's Defense profits are TRIPLED under Bush |
|
GE, owner of MSNBC, is making BILLIONS from the Bush administration.
So, in fairness, watching GE (MSNBC) is like listening to Baghdad Bob to get your information on the invasion in 2003.

8. Same debate, but different shows. |
|
JE was on target with his points, called Cheney on his lies, but the format worked against him. As a lawyer he builds a case like building a wall, brick by brick, one item on top of another. In the debate format things were disjointed and didn't allow for careful construction. All Cheney had to do was keep repeating his lies to give a better, more even performance.
JE won the debate, but Cheney gets the academy award.
Perhaps as the debate transcript is parsed over the next few days we can change that perception.
