I MUST Be Crazy... I Thought Edwards Did Just Fine !!!
Remember... he was supposed to be the anti-dolt to Cheney!

He was thoughtful, answered the questions, and re-examined the Dick-Head responses as they were supposed to move to other subjects.

IOW - I think he did EXATCLY what the Kerry Campaign wanted him to do.

And... I THINK HE TOTALLY KICKED ASS!!!

1. I agree.....
Edwards did great...he crushed Cheney on the economy, poverty, health care, and the mess in Iraq and the lies about the 911/Sadaam connection, and Halliburton!

"Mr. Vice President, the country cannot take another 4 years of your experience."

2. Edwards did great, Cheney had to rehash all the campaign trail lies
....Edwards anticipated them and hit back with facts. Clsoing was very strong for Edwards, Cheney has become hackneyed in his message, style and just drones on endlessly. He even got off subject on several questions.

3. Since Cheney didn't crush him, Edwards did great!
I mean Cheney was like a bulldozer and Edwards was like a Prius. Edwards was laying forth his standard talking points. But I actually heard some interesting stuff from Cheney about domestic policy and the missed votes in the Senate. Saying "this is the first time I met you" was very powerful.

Cheney won, but that was expected considering his experience. Edwards did great!

4. And you're completely right!
And Cheney lied his ass off, and tomorrow the newspapers will point that out.

6. check out sullivan
Boy was I ever wrong. If last Thursday night's debate was an assisted suicide for president Bush, this debate - just concluded - was a car wreck. And Cheney was road-kill. There were times when it was so overwhelming a debate victory for Edwards that I had to look away. I have to do C-SPAN now, but stay tuned for more post-debate blogging in a little while.

I wasn't paying much attention, but from what I did hear it sounded like Edwards more than held his own. I just got here so I'm not sure if your post is in response to bad reviews, but so far the worst I've heard is that it was a draw, and that seems based on the fact that Cheney wasn't as awful as Bush.

7. Edwards won it.
He's a much more likeable guy and certainly easier to listen to.

He made more sense because he pointed out what we ALL know to be true -- the war in Iraq and the economy are a mess -- while Cheney tried to tell the American people what we ALL know are lies.

And even though he's a liar, Cheney provided an articulate contrast to BUSH, another reminder of what a dolt Bush is!

So nothing but good news in this debate, I believe.

8. He did. But compared to the Chimpanzee, Cheney looked brilliant.

But then Cheney has YEARS of evil experience on corporate boards, with millionaires and billionaires with huge abilities to fight for their greed.
It's pretty simple- If the American people want shit for leaders, I can't stop them. I can see the dumbing down of America is in full effect.
Kerry and Edwards are two exceptional candidates. The problem is, Americans might not know a good thing when they see.
When it comes to the current administration, I know shit when I smell it. Plain and simple. I"m just glad I'm not of drafting age, because when Bush says he won't instigate the draft, that translates to just the opposite.
Edwards KICKED ASS. He held his own against the antiChrist. And that's saying a lot.

Edit- If you watch Fox, Cheney won. If you study, and know the truth, Edwards won.

9. You're not crazy
Edwards won the debate hands down. It went pretty much the way I thought it would. Edwards was relentless in attacking the record of ShrubCo and Cheney could only partially defend it. To be sure Cheney did not melt down under the lights like Shrub but Cheney simply could not effectively counter Edwards piercing focus on the many disasters ShrubCo has created in their 4 years.

Edward's you da man. Great Job. And Great set up for Kerry to AGAIN put the petulent Bubble Boy away.

10. He more than held his own.
Edwards was able to articulate clear facts and figures and had solid plans for the future. All ole' FU could do was to level personal attacks and untrue charges (i.e. that he'd never met Edwards before. He has. There's proof that they met at a 2/1/01 Prayer Breakfast).

11. Edwards won every poll except
Nightline's ABC poll and one other that shut down right after it was Freep'd... and it STILL was close!

The news pundits, mouth firmly attached to the Bush's & Cheney's nether region, can swallow hard

-- the AMERICAN PEOPLE KNOW WHO WON!
