If a few days the net result of this debate

Will be to boost Kerry/Edwards in the national polls as well as have s significant effect in Ohio itself.

The fact that Edwards has a lead in most instant polls and yet has years less experience that Cheney in the political arena will lend to the overall impression of Edwards as being far more capable than Cheney.
