MSNBC Just cut to a shot of Edwards speaking to a crowd - he said Dick Cheney must be forgetting all the times he met him before - like when they sat next to eachother and talked policy for 3 hours a couple years ago, or when they were at the swearing-in ceremonies just a couple years ago.

AND... he said that right when the wives came on stage, ELIZABETH EDWARDS WALKED UP TO CHENEY AND TOLD THAT TO HIS EAR!

What we have here with Cheney is a troubling tendency to exaggerate and outright lie. Cheney meet Gore (as in being Gored).

On Edit: Nope, this is nowhere near being Gored. Just a bald, faced lie. HOW THE HELL COULD HE FORGET!

Elizabeth called him on this lie and let them know that there is proof-solid proof that Cheney was lying. We all need to do this ASAP!

And I can see why John does, too.

You are one of my personal heros. I've said this before, and I'll say it again. Any woman who can go through what you have been through, and come out of it with such a lovely family and with such warmth, balanced by your obvious intelligence and courage, is a woman I admire, and want to be like.

I am also trying to be a mother late in life, and I think of you and your success when I feel overwhelmed by the struggle. Bless you for being you.
