ABC Poll Explained by PBS Charlie Rose! Disparity Explained!!!!!!
On Charlie Rose, one of the ABC News correspondents explained the disparity. Paraphrasing:

"One network poll shows Edwards winning and one shows Cheney winning... Our polls showed Cheney on top, but further explanation is really necessary, and I could talk all night about this. Our poll is heavily slanted towards Republicans because the poll showed that many, many more Republicans were watching."

9. It would have been one of the questions, I think
But I'm not sure what you're suggesting. Do you think they skewed the results based on that assumption?

11. They may have determined that by asking the respondents
for party identification.

No big deal--maybe more Pugs were watching because they were hoping to get some vindication, while more Dems already knew they were backing a winning ticket after the 1st Pres. debate.

8. How the hell do they know that?
I assume this poll was via the net, so how could they know the party of who voted?

Edited on Tue Oct-05-04 11:25 PM by nu_duer
and they stand alone, at this moment, as showing "results" that give cheney a win tonight.

they are lying.

a news organization is lying, and spinning, for the current regime.

their license should be pulled
