Personally, I think Cheney reminded everyone of their mean, abusive father.

People just liked Edwards better. Cheney was an asshole.

Those remarks that Edwards rattled off about Cheneying voting against Meals on Wheels, MLK Jr Day, etc, were BRILLIANT. Painted Cheney as a total piece of SHIT.

I think people just connected with Edwards, and didn't like Cheney.

There's no way to make Crashcart look anything other than mean and nasty. His true nature keeps shining through. With Ronnie they had it easy. He looked like everyone's favorite grandfather or uncle.

I was also astounded at the online polls and the margins of victory for Edwards. I would like to think that's a harbinger of the election.
