forget all the MSNBC spin....look at it objectively and it is clear Edwards won the debate...Cheney did not have an answer for many of Edwards attacks....

show the moments when Cheney avoided defending himself because he could not...NO WAY....they are only showing Cheney's strengths during the debate and Edwards' weaknesses....really fucking sad!

9. the talking heads at MSRNC
can't seem to connect to the fact that they are well above the median income, and cannot relate to many of the domestic issues that Edwards connects with the average voter who is worried about making his next rent payment, outsourcing, etc. These guys become fat and out of touch with outside the beltway issues, and overweight foreign policy. Then they act surprised when the masses don't agree with them.

11. Those fools seem to think that they decide the election
not the voters. How arrogant they are! Only our friend Ron has his head on straight. He seems to realize that something is up with the populace.

12. Is there anything more fun than seeing Tweety, Joe and all
the whores trying to continue the "Cheney = equals crushing victory" spin while all the rest of the media is running video of the prayer breakfast and clicking on "factcheck.com". Cheney will come out of this looking like a serial liar and complete idiot.
BUT NOBODY HAS CLUED IN JOE AND HIS PANEL!!!
I am truly laughing my ass off.

18. In Tweety's defense (shudder) he reamed that Republican
Attorney Ben Ginsberg a new asshole on Cheney saying he never said there was a connection. It was one of Tweety's finer moments; he had the guy sputtering at the end because he told him NBC had tape showing Cheney saying there was a connection.

27. GENBC has a particular conflict of interest ...

They're a defense contractor. They have a financial interest in warfare and military defense appropriations.

This is a VERY bad conflict for a company that is supposedly providing us with objective information about world affairs!!!!

he sealed the deal right there! Look at this way you CNBC phonies. You might still have a job after November two. We know damn sure Keith Obermann will.

28. Wow that was a good purchase by Soros
You know a lot of people will confuse
http://www.factcheck.org with http://www.factcheck.com

In fact most people will assume the .com site first. Brilliant move by Soros.

And even if you go to www.factcheck.org, the gop repukes come up looking worse anyway.

So go ahead America go check your facts.

Sonia

24. Perhap it's good lawyering by JE afterall
The MSM is judging this debate like insiders... not as the public saw it.
I felt, despite the strong boardroom presentation, Cheney just came off
as dishonest and creepy. I was worried at the end of it all that perhaps
Cheney would have a better showing.... but the slime he left behind
could be be the damning evidence. And perhaps other folks might feel this same way.
The fact checking is just starting.... and proving that gravitas does not outshine dishonesty. And to top it off.... John Edwards did have tons of subtance and was refreshingly honest. John didn't have to be an attack dog at all because Cheney's blatant lies, crusty demeanor and damning record did that job for him.

I'm very curious what the polls will prove.
