I like him so much. He really is a smart, articulate and perceptive guy. And he has a good sense of humor too.

1. msnbc has made some smart programming moves lately
i'll bet they WILL give him his own show soon.

either that, or pair him with scarborough... those two are great together.

3. He's criminally underused and under appreciated, IMO.

.
He's like a progressive version of his Dad and Mom.

His points are usually very interesting and insightful, unlike most of the asshats on there.

6. Catch him on Animal Planet
I *know* that's not the kind of shows you all would like, but he's one of the announcers for dog shows.

8. I *do* like dog shows and I like him announcing them.
It's the Eukanuba Dog Show I think. Anyway, that's where I had encountered him on TV before now. That's also why I know he has a good sense of humor too.

7. my problem with Ron Reagan.....
besides the fact that it is hard for me too like a Reagan but I do like Ron, is that it seems like Ron Reagan is gun shy when he is on MSNBC. For example, the other night after the Kerry/Bush debate where it was clear that Kerry won, Reagan would not say it right away. He had to wait to hear what everyone else had to say. Also, he has trouble getting a word in. He lets scarborough do most of the talking and just sits there and moves his head around looking to see who will speak next. And tonight he has not been impressive either. He is not defending Kerry when he could.

9. I agree!
Ron has proven himself to be intelligent and insightful.
Whereas most are talking heads are neither.... just bloviated argumentors.
Plus Ron is totally funny and his wit is lightning fast.
Yes .... give him his own show. That 10pm timeslot looks perfect.

10. Ron Reagan is incredible - we need more like him on our side
He's incredibly smart and always has an interesting take on things. Reagan has a very strong, consistent, liberal point of view, and always explains his position thoroughly. He usually wins his argument with substance and humor instead of simply berating his opponent like Matthews does. Ron Reagan is the type of liberal we need - he's not afraid to mix it up with obnoxious people and call them out (whenever he interviews the crowd he usually finds someone obnoxious and actually engages them in debate until they fold! ha !).

He is much, much better than our Dem talking heads.

I was speaking with my Democratic mother about Ron Reagan the other day, about what a smart guy he is. And she said "Yeah, just like his dad !" I was ready to disagree with her, but then I remembered Reagan was also an affable guy with strong beliefs and a tough wit.
