Cheney acted "annoyed" with the whole thing
I have been reading and voting in polls here since the debate ended yet nobody has really mentioned Cheney's attitude. It's that intangible thing that has been characterized as not smiling, talking to his hands, declining to respond on at least one occasion.

So, while I have been sitting here thinking about what I saw, it hit me. He was annoyed with having to be there. As if it was somehow below him to actively participate with a junior senator. I have no doubt that was planned and I have no doubt the viewing public got the following subliminal message.....

We are above all this crap, just give us your damn vote and then leave us the hell alone.....

1. I think he has "imminent heart attack short timer's attitude". If it's
something he wants to do, fine. If not, he's pissed off and doesn't want to be there.

2. You're absolutely right, imo.
They forget that we're their employer & that we decide if they're going to continue working for us or if they deserve to get fired.

3. That's how they both are. They seem to forget that they're working for us
They seem to think that the public doesn't deserve to question their rationale for *anything* from drilling in the last pristine land in the country to putting thousands of our soldiers in harm's way for oil.

Damn them all to hell!

Honestly, I cannot wait until this is over and we have a real President!

7. I am simply amazed
Annoyed yes, maybe arrogance is a better term.

My amazement is, its a fricking election... I think the short-timer post earlier is dead on..

He just doesnt give a rats ass if he has this job for four more years or not....

I'll am so looking forward to getting a couple of guys in there that will actually do some work (remember Clitons work ethic - tireless)

8. Arrogance?
I listened on Air America Radio (I can't stand to look at either Cheney or *ushit). Cheney seemed arrogant -- after all he is the "real" Prez. AAR is my sanity -- Mike Malloy had a good review -- and I'm looking forward to Randi's review tomorrow.

Talking Points Memo -- has some good insights.
