What a very sorry commentary on America

That this election could possibly be close, when there is definitive proof beyond all doubt that

-the bushCartel lied this nation's men and women to war;

-that they sent these men & women to war without enough body armor and bullets and food & water and armored vehicles;

-that geopolitics was the sole reason for the war;

-that we're now LESS SAFE;

-that terrorism has increased because of this invasion;

-that America now officially outsources torture;

-that the bushCartel authorized the use of torture;

-that dissent = "treason" (except when the president happens to be a Democrat; then dissent = "patriotism", according to the rightwingnuts. And Hitler.)

-that the outing of undercover ops is SOP for revenge;

-that 18 months later and still not one single national memorial service for our fallen troops;

-that the US government trivializes our uniformed men and women's deaths...tries to cut their combat and hazard duty pay, cuts their veterans' benefits (3 times so far) cuts their military school funding, cuts their housing funding (leaving EVERY military child behind);

-failed to prevent the 911 attacks, failed to fund homeland security, failed to safeguard our ports and borders, failed to secure our flights...failed failed failed failed failed.

That this election is close says a whole lot about the American people. And nothing good.

most Americans rely on news from Faux or one of the other media whores. If the whores told the truth, Bush's approval rating would be under 30%.

3. But are we putting too much faith in the media talking heads

who want us to believe their skewed polls? When I look at all the pictures of the Kerry/Edwards rallies & see the hordes of people who are hungry for a change, and when I hear about scores of people lining up at the voter registrar's office to register to vote, I feel very encouraged about a Kerry/Edwards landslide.

Take what the corporate pundits say with a grain of salt. GWB is their best friend, not ours.

Bush should be in jail right now, and instead he's running for office?

He's all PROUD of 9/11?

WTF? The biggest national security failure EVER in the history of the United States, and he's PROUD of this?
