My favorite part of the debate was at the end when Edwards
was given a 30 second reply and then said "are you sure?" then went ahead anyway, and fater abot 15 seconds he saw it in Ifill and said "So did you just realize you were wrong?"

I also liked when she asked that one question and said you can't say the name of the presidential candidate and Edwards said it anyway. And then on the next question he was like "Can I say John Kerry now?"

4. because the vice-presidential debate can degenerate into 2 spokesmen
for their presidential candidates; that question was meant to be "what do you bring to the office of vice-president?" A reasonable question to ask, to try to break up the 'my candidate says/your candidate says' pattern.

3. after the debate concluded
the Bush-Kerry debate -- bush left the stage with his family, Kerry lingered a few moments and received a rousing ovation/cheers

it was apparant last night that this did not go unnoticed by bush*/cheney inc.

both families came up on stage, there was applause then an awkward moment when it was obvious that neither Edwards nor Cheney wanted to be the first to leave the stage....

wonder if we will see this on Friday night? Who will leave the stage first -- or not?
