After being delighted last night and voting in the online polls...
It looks like a lot of people agree with me...Senator Edwards won last night. Even Fox's online poll has a majority of people saying that Edwards won. :-)

After watching MSNBC last night (and watching Scarborough practically hyperventilating about how "Cheney obliterated Edwards"), it was very nice indeed to have my feelings confirmed. :-)

1. Same here, terrya -- the contrast between Cheney and Edwards on the screen
in all sorts of ways, won this thing for us, with real people.

3. One of my very favorite moments during the debate...
when Cheney was blabbering about Edwards record as Senator...and how John came right back and mentioned CHENEY'S record as Congressman...voting against the MLK Holiday...against a ban on plastic handguns....against a resolution urging the RELEASE of Nelson Mandela, for Christ's sake. I am so glad John brought that up...it showed what a knuckle dragging ultra-right wing troglodyte Cheney is. It was a perfect moment...and it showed what a forceful man John Edwards is. I was very proud of Edwards last night.

2. When he said the "obliterated" line...
I practically fell off the couch laughing. Edwards won it hands down, crashcart merely did better than the chimp.
