Best moment of the debate..........
Cheney said that he could respond to Edwards but that he needed more than 30 seconds and the moderator said "Well thats all you got". Put him right in his place. Did he really think that he could mold the rules to suit him that easily?

1. I clapped twice and booed twice
I clapped when edwards talked about he believes in work vs. wealth (I think he brought this up twice, once about a guy sitting around a pool collecting dividends?). I also really liked the long list of stingy votes cheney made in congress; I was watching on split screen c-span and cheney's face was good then.

I booed at one of cheney's more egregious spins, when he lumped Iraqi deaths with coalition deaths to make it look better percentage-wise. That's a sick joke to do that.

I can't remember the other boo, but it was some specific spin that he continues to use.

3. I thought Edwards defense of his career was great, bringing up

the little girl who had her intestines sucked out because of a defective swimming pool pump system, and the whole defusing of the frivolous lawsuit issue. The whole "we're with the people, he's with HMO's/drug companies/insurance companies" was clearly taking the wind out of Cheney's sails.

4. Right on about the Iraqi deaths.
It is about the "coalition" going in to the war foremost. I understand what cheney is trying to spin, but they were not a part of the coalition when we were at war with "THEM", how could they be?

My condolence goes out to all families that have lost a love one in this tragic mess. God Bless our troops.
