Edwards made a major point that has met with Media silence
Cheney's company while he was CEO was trading with countries that were being sanctioned by the world. Both Libia and Iran were considered Enemies of America and Cheney (Halliburton) was selling them supplies. That is in effect "Trading with the Enemy". It is a fact, and yet met with total silence. I think some questions are in order. Edwards repeated these claims in no uncertain terms and yet

1. And CNN just reported
that in the report from US weapons inspectors is a listing of companies that went against the UN and dealt with Iraq. The US companies are to be kept classified. I'll bet you Haliburton is on that list!

We need to pressure the media to go after that list and get it published!

2. I think Edwards did a great thing bringing this up...
I think he should've just come out and called Cheney what he is: A War Profiteer. The media is overcompensating for the praise they gave Kerry last thursday night...

3. Yes, and let's talk about S-corporations
which millions of small businesses depend on to reduce overhead as well as avoid a C-corp minimum tax ($800 here in CA, whether you do a dime's worth of business or not).

Then let's talk about offshore corps, whose sole purpose is for huge corporations with substantial means to avoid paying tax on income earned from American citizens.

Fucking hypocrite.

4. What you don't know is that this is all too common.
I think the latest 9/11 report will be eye-awakening. Pay attention to the section which identifies the U.S. Corporations which did exactly the same thing.

5. Trading with the enemy is a bush family tradition...
...why should it be surprising that a bush veep would do it to. It probably secured the spot for Cheney.
