Fox beltway boys support Chaney's lie!
Surfing around post-speech spin, caught one of Fox's 'Beltway Boys' talking about the debate last night. He said one of the most telling comments Chaney made was pointing out he had never met him before, highlighting the junior Senators lack of experience. Everyone is nodding as he moves on. I know, I shouldn't be shocked anymore, but I can't believe sometimes just how brazenly slanted the media still is!

1. I think they actually like this Cheney error
Kind of implies Cheney is such a big wig that he'd forget he even met Edwards.

6. Dumbest argument in the DB8
Why is it Edwards fault that he never met cheney. I mean Cheney is the VP. He is trying to get their policies through the senate. He is the tie breaking vote why is it on Edwards to talk to Cheney. This is the dumbest argument I have ever heard. I can't believe its getting traction. Here is one. Why would you want to meet someone actually voted against a National Holiday for Martin Luther King. Even more amazing Cheney voted against a resolution not a bill (a resolution is a statement really not a law) calling for the release of Nobel Peace Prize recipient Nelson Mandela. I don't know about you but I don't hang out with people in the KLAN.

7. The point is...
...he DID meet Cheney. They have it on video! Watch the DNC video in the link in the post above.

Cheney got caught cold in a bald-faced lie.

8. That is why we need to slam Cheney on the never met lie
Then it is easier to deal with the more complex lies.

9. At least Fauxviews is
and they wear it like a badge of honor!

If just one single cable news network wants to beat Faux, dramatically increase their ratings (kill Faux in the ratings, actually) and go strictly for the bottom line all they have to do is air with a left-wing bias. Don't compete with Faux. Serve the underserved and that network will win hands down!

In truth, it won't harm their credibility too much because the right-wing attack machine continues it's screed of liberal media. And it's accepted thoughout that Faux's strategy is a far-right conservative/Republican market segment.

But it's not going to happen. They will all keep trying to emulate Faux. :(

11. I think this was supposed to be his Major Zinger like the Loyd Benson
line. I knew JFK and you sir are no JFK. Cheney says I lead the Senate and I have never met you. Zing Zing Zing, then low and behold we all find out it is LIE LIE LIE. What a major backfire. "Honor and Dignity" Indeed........
