Bush's "Mulligan" Speech admission they are behind and running scared
It is an admission that he screwed up in his debate with John Kerry. He attacked Kerry relentlessly with distortions and lies, such as when he said Kerry would apply a "global test" before he would defend America. That is totally opposite to what Kerry said in the debate. Bush lied intentionally.

He spoke of "trial lawyers" and "Massachusetts politicians" as if he were an "outsider". When most folks know that he has been involved in politics since he went AWOL from his National Guard service when he was in his mid-twenties. He is as much a "politician" as anybody in Washington, even though he lies and bullshits people into thinking he is an outsider.

It was an embarrassing speech in many ways but it was very telling. They are on the defensive and they are desperate. They must lie about a "major speech" to get on all the cable TV networks and then give a practice campaign speech in front of a coached partisan crowd. it was obvious to most of America.

3. Look at this way: Today's speech gave Kerry
lots of ammo for Friday night's debate. He will show him up royally once again simply because he is brilliant. And Bush is an idiot! He had to read every word of his speech today. He won't have his speech in front of him on Friday.

7. see I think it plays to Kerry's favor...
we get to preview what the plan of attack is going to be on Friday and take it head on and respond--it was so stupid-they are down...2 days before the 2nd debate he goes out there with supporters and attacks Kerry..but COULDN'T do it in front of 63 million people...because "its hard work to think on my feet"

I think its good...more people will be watching Friday than watched this piece of shit..so kerry will be prepared

4. Desperate, Yes.....Defensive, No
Their Defense is Offense...attack, attack, ATTACK..doesn't matter if the attack is true or not, just attack. It's more like the thrashing of a wounded, dying animal.

A mulligan from the ladies tees is not what will turn the tide. Friday night and the last debate will be decisive in the winning this thing.

6. Additionally, let's all thank Edwards
He covered in the debate last night, many of the things Bush talked about today. When Bush brought up the "global test" it was already old news... Edwards took care of it. Anything Bush wanted to "do-over" was long played out by the time the camera lights went to green.

8. Shows him for the coward he is...can only defend his disastrous policies..
in front of an audience sworn to be loyal to der fuhrer, no criticism
or rebuttal allowed. Doesn't this blatant campaign commercial mean Kerry gets equal time, though? Aren't there laws pertaining to this?
