Anybody see Cate Edwards interview on MSNBC ?

She answered questions from the cute blonde and she did great! She defended her Dad and had a good command of the facts. She did surprisingly well, not to be a professional spokesperson.

1. She was on AAR this morning, too...

She sounded great -- she tried to stay above the fray as Marc Maron was asking her if her hands started to burn after shaking Cheney's hand.

I wanted to call in and try to give her my phone number, but the lines were busy.

She was intelligent, articulate, and very confident.

The Bush twins would never be able to appear on TV without sounding like immature, spoiled brats.

4. I saw her on CNN this morning

She was asked if her dad was nervous to which she replied that he was, which I thought might be a mistake on her part, but she also said that he quickly got over it. I thought Cheney was nervous. I heard a quiver in his voice the entire time.


AND she countered the charge that Cheney made about having never met Edwards before. She said her mom!!! went up to Lynne afterwards and said, "Don't your remember we met you at the Prayer Breakfast in 2002!! I love it. Mrs. Edwards has as much guts as Mrs. Heinz-Kerry!! Love strong women!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! There was also another time that she said that they had met, but I forgot the venue.

those women...they seem so smart and together ---nice..very refreshing to actually see brains ticking off and lights in their eyes when they are speaking...

8. I read on DU that

lynne cheney said on cnn or somewhere that it was "four Years" ago at a breakfast meeting.

If this is what she said then she lyin', too.. and who would put it past her?

7. The cute blonde misrepresented the facts

--again -- and Cate called her on them.
Why can't the interviewer (who preceded a fact check segment) get basic facts straight so she doesn't ask debunked questions?
