Another Cheney Lie? "Coalition Body Count"

dick jumped on JE for not counting Iraqis as part of the 'coalition'

in terms of who all is getting killed over there.

I have seen other DUers questioning why the US reports on

coalition casualties never include Iraqi KIAs.

Does anybody have links to the 'official' #'s

1. Did Iraq just join the coalition to invade and occupy itself?

And if Iraq is an ally, who the heck is shooting at US troops? Oh...all those 'terraists' that have lived there for decades.

I think Edwards really needed to slap him back for that instead of letting it move on. The Bush Administration has never mentioned ANY numbers on dead Iraqi citizens at ANY POINT that I can recall. Now suddenly they are part of the Coalition?

Which makes sense, I guess, since the Iraqi people hate the Coalition.

A coalition of nations invaded and occupied another country. Can a country invade itself? Occupy itself?

Or did Cheney mean that AFTER the transfer of "limited" "sovreignty" occupation by GB and USA ended and Iraq joined the coalition? I must have missed that announcement....

...then Iraq WILL have 90 percent of the "coalition" casualties. If only they could shoulder 90 percent of the costs, but they keep blowing up those pesky oil pipelines.
