Cheney admits to being a slacker
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 11:07 AM by Wubette
The most telling remark last night-the Vice President's claim that he never met John Edwards before just adds grist to the mill. This is an administration that doesn't or won't do their homework. One would expect that anyone entering a debate with an opponent would have checked out the opposition. Didn't he get a briefing on Edwards? I can understand him not remembering him, he meets a lot of people. But Jeeze didn't he have one of his staff check out the opposition?

Once again Mr Cheney didn't get the work done. From the debate last night to the Iraq war he just doesn't get the background of information he needs to do the job.

(edit for spelling)

1. Here's what I posted on my blog today:
Here's what I want to know, Dick...

Why hasn't the President Pro Tem of the US Senate taken the time to meet each senator personally?

4 years divided by 5 minutes per senator equals Dick Cheney doesn't give a rat's ass about you unless you're one of his own faithful asskissing rats.

3. Pat Leahy's comment
Pat Leahy reported last night that Cheney only meets with the Republican members of the Senate. He does this on a regular basis. Just another indication of this administration being dividers and not uniters.

2.  Or, he's forgetful. Basic memory function is degraded...
he's not as sharp as he used to be, may need help getting to and from places that are familiar to him (Oh! How did I end up in the Situation Room again?!)
