Did he take the wrong meds today?

Among things he said:

- Edwards shined on Domestic issues
- Cheney tried to make this a referndum on Kerry, this election is a referendum on Bunnypants..."should we rehire or fire this guy"
- Used the term "Mulligan Speech" and said Bunnypants was trying to redebate last week
- Really critical on the GMA...no one cares, President can't ammend the constitution.

I'm still checking if I'm on the right planet this morning.

Others called it a childish (Bush-ish) do-over. I love that they are saying he is "re-debating". He looks so weak doing this alone.

Edwards making the stand last night may have been the push the media needed.

who said that Edwards looked like he had been smacked several times -- like he was crying because of things Cheney said and thought it was Cheney who had won.

Chris Matthews said that Edwards looks like a lawyer who can take two sides of the issue.

10. Wanna Bet Tweety Backtracks Later

Tweety's gotta react to all the lies that have been exposed since the speech and as Andrea Greenspan said "let's let this soak in overnight". Methinks Tweety hadn't soaked yet this morning, but may be doing so right now.

He went apeshit on Ben Ginsburg over the 9/11-Al Queda flip flop, and seemed wowed by the "never met the man" remark...that's before the C-SPAN 2001 video showed up. Now there's even more evidence that the cause for the war (What Tweety kept harping on as his reason for supporting) is bogus, Tweety's got some 'splainin' to do.

The man whose been on top of it all has been Olbermann. If you want the best synopsis of the debate, his round-by-round is a must read.

8. These Wretches Must Blow With The Wind

Their bread and butter is their claim to understand these matters better than the average person. But if what they say is too far from what the average person knows and sees and understands, then they simply appear rediculous rather than wise to the average person. Thus they must fall into line with popular perception sooner or later, or find another line of work....
