2. Great detective work, bigree. So Dubya said SADDAM was harboring

al-Qaeda in Iraq?

The only al-Qaeda in the area were in Iraqi Kurdistan, separated from Saddam and his army by miles of US "no fly zone". And it was Dubya HIMSELF who protected this al-Qaeda group from THREE planned Pentagon air attacks, until 18 months AFTER 9/11!

The reason: Dubya wanted to have some "terrorists in Iraq" so he could blame them on Saddam and say the US had to invade to avange 9/11. This Machiavellian scheme has backfired big time, and resulted in thousands of US casualties. It was not just ANY terrorist Dubya gave three passes to, it was Abu Musab al-Zarqawi!

4. That search DOESN'T doesn't work EVERY time. The Center for

American Progress ( http://www.americanprogress.org ) offered a big prize to anybody who could find any George W. Bush reference to "al-Qaeda" or "Osama bin Laden" before 9/11/01. If I recall correctly, they did NOT have to pay off.

And in recent months, it seems to me I haven't heard anybody at the White House mention Osama--no more "Wanted, Dead or Alive!"
