The media just doesn't get it...
Many of us have received e-mails from various news outlets telling us to stop sending e-mails, that we are clogging their e-mail boxes. I've no way of knowing what the freeps are doing, but judging from the poll responses last night, not much. SO...my question is, why the hell don't these idiots get it? If they're getting massive amounts of e-mails from dems but not from righties, it really shouldn't make a bit of difference whether or not we're clogging their e-mail boxes. They should be taking the phenomenal outpouring for what it is...SUPPORT for K/E and disgust with Bush. Do they we're all doing this because we're bored? WTF?

They get three letters about Dan Rather, and he's got to go...they get a thousand about Bush, and it's just because we're immature brats clogging their e-mail boxes. Where do think these e-mails are coming from? I simply cannot believe every single one of them are THAT shallow and stupid...if I suddenly got a ton of e-mail on ANY issue, I'd damn sure sit up an take notice and try to find out what is going on. Instead, they just want us to stop bothering them.

You'da thunk they learned something after they dropped the ball and ignored the marches and protests prior to Bush's Iraq Folly. Sheesh. This is a frightening time in American history.

3. Exactly
It's that way with their online polls, too. When the numbers show that Kerry or Edwards won big in their debates, the media claims that the polls do not reflect public opinion. What the...?! That makes no sense, at all. Do they really think we are that organized? This is the nation speaking and the media haven't a clue.

They are in for a HUGE shock come the night of Nov. 2nd.

5. Oh they get it alright
but they are covering there asses.
They know what management wants from them and they know they have to give it or get out.
I almost feel sorry for the poor bastards, but then I realize just how gutless they are.
Like the MS NBC poll where over 2 million voted and 59% said Edwards won and all of them said dick head won no problem. The real gage is what we think not what they think.

6. i think that when a righty outfit gets 50 freeper emails on whatever
subject, it reinforces the corp. line, or ownership ideology, so Whoopi gets fired. We can send 50,000 emails, or put 1,000,0000 on the street in a peace march, and as it is in direct opposition of the ideology, it will be dismissed. I am not suggesting that anyone stop doing any of things, I am suggesting that in addition to activism, we need to quit supporting cable cos, radio and advertisers with dollars, as the truth of the matter, that is the only real ammunition we have. It is always the only ammunition the working or middle class has. This is just my opinion, and it seems not at all shared by a good deal of people here.

The best thing we can do is continue to clog their email boxes, but ignore their "reporting." We must get the word out that just like Faux CNN and MSNBC are not your friend.. They are a more liberal version of Faux, yet they are slanted heavily towards the right.. We can't allow this bias to continue, and CNN and MSNBC relies heavily on liberals..Free yourself and listen to Air America..

13. i hear you! And if i had the money
to buy the basic equipment, I probably would, just to avoid the hassle.

But my big thing is this - ReThug propaganda is on the dial, free for anyone with an AM radio, and I don't think we should ever rest until our side is too. Free on the Dial!

People are hungry for Air America. I don't think I have ever told this story before on DU, but a couple of years ago, a friend of mine sent me tapes thru the mail of Randi Rhodes when she had her Florida show. I was so hungry for true alternative news, that I listened to tapes of an old AM show sent to me thru the mail!!! Is there anybody out there that is reading this, and understands what that means? Get Air America on the dial, people want it.

9. Big media is owned by the very folks who are causing all the problems.
They do not want to have to air those problems they are causing. They might stur up enough public sentiment to get themselves broken up if they did.

They are too big, and their self interests always come first, before reporting the "news".
