Join Forces with the Freepers ?

I know, I know... it sounds absurd but hear me out before you throw me out.

I saw this on their site and have to agree if both the DU"ers and Freepers click on the sponsor link, we could really feed a lot of rescued animals.

The Animal RescueSite is having trouble getting enough people to click on it daily to meet their quota of getting free food donated every day to abused and neglected animals.

It takes less than a minute to go to their site and click on "feed an animal in need" for free. This doesn't cost you a thing. Their corporate sponsors/advertisers use the number of daily visits to donate food to abandoned/neglected animals in exchange for advertising. (Weight Watchers is one of the sponsors!)

I think the Hunger Site is run by the people that do Landmark Training, but I'm not sure.

2. Why would Freeps sponsor animal rescue?

Read the fine print. It probably says they're "rescuing" animals from wildlife sanctuaries so they can shoot 'em.
