Kerry on Dr. Phil -- watching now, one great quote so far: |
|
Kerry was talking about after his divorce, how he stayed in the girls lives and would help them with homework, on the phone, late at night, and going back to watch their games on weekends, and Dr. Phil said "It was a sacrifice" and Kerry jumped right in and said "no. no it wasn't. It wasn't a sacrifice at all. It was wonderful and rewarding and the most important thing I could do" (ok, this is NOT verbatim).
Anyway, from that point on, Dr. Phil's demeanor changed from somewhat skeptical, to more nodding and he honestly seemed impressed with Kerry.
Dr. Phil made a comment at the end of the segment that he thought Kerry "really gets it" about parenting.

1. Of course Kerry "gets it"...just like the Clintons did. |

The results are plain for anyone to see. I saw Vanessa speak on his behalf in Maine....I came away extremely impressed with her character, demeanor, and public speaking capabilities.
