If there's a box that says Oct. 6, click on it to get the new numbers.

ensure that these polls are reliable? They are online based and it seems to me that only partisans would sign up to do them.

9. Leading in AR, down by only 1 in TN, 2 in Missouri!!!
WOW.

:wow:

In other news, stick a fork in BC04 in Washington, Oregon, and New Mexico. The Western Gore states look like they're going for Kerry.

And hey, West Virginia... :wtf: is wrong with you?

10. NJ vs Michigan
Can I just say that I have been giving my Michigan family a hard time because I live in a safe Blue (NJ)state vs their swing state? Now I have to get my butt in gear and start canvassing because if Kerry carries Mich but looses NJ I will NEVER hear the end of it.

20. Arkansas has been within the margin of error for months
I'm amazed at how many people in the northeast just assume Arkansas is not a swing state, even political experts who should know better. Sometimes the conventional wisdom is way off.

13. Holy Cow! Look at those battleground states line up!
Yes, within the margin of error, but blue is better than red!

14. Zogby Interactive polls
are unproven, unscientific, and done over the internet by political junkies.

If they turn out to be right come election day then Zogby has my respect, but I don't put much credibility into these polls.

17. No, I like Zogby's traditional polling
He did very well in 1996 and 2000.

Survey USA did a better job than Zogby Interactive in 2002.

21. Yawn . . .

This mantra of yours is really, really tired. The numbers for * over at Rasmussen are much better state-by-state; do you want to go with them this week, or . . . ?

23. I have consistently said that
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 05:33 PM by tritsofme
Zogby Interactive polls are unreliable as long as I have posted here, whether the results are favorable to Kerry or Bush.

19. Thanks for the news
Zogby has kept my hopes up through the bad polls. I have a lot of faith in him. SUSA has been outliers galore this time. I don't care about last time.

24. The big thing here is that Kerry isn't losing any states Gore won.
Edited on Wed Oct-06-04 05:33 PM by Sean Reynolds
While Bush is losing in 5 states he won last year.

Arkansas
Florida (Ha!)
Nevada
New Hampshire
Ohio

That'll swing the election right there.

However, I don't trust Zogby.

26. I've said it before...
Zogby, by far, has been the most accurate. In 2000, it was right on the nose by predicting Gore winning the popular vote.
