Personally, while I fully support the right of the State of Israel to exist, I deplore the fact that the Bush Administration has become Ariel Sharon's rubber stamp. We need to become an honest broker between Israel and the Palestinians. Instead, the US has vetoed virtually every sanction attempted against Israel in the UN. If you want to address one of the causes of terrorism, you can do it effectively by changing our policy towards the Israel and Palestinian conflict and making every painful effort involved, going the extra mile, to get both sides together and broker a JUST and lasting peace. It's in the best long-term interest of BOTH Israel and the Palestinians to do so. Bush and his Klan have completely abandoned this effort.
