Landon Howell is a native of Jasper, Alabama. He graduated from Walker High School in 1999, and later attended Mississippi College, a private Christian university in Clinton, Mississippi.
He graduated with a degree in Communication/Public Relations from Mississippi College (2003), and is currently completing his Master's Degree in Corporate Communication & Public Relations at the Graduate School of Mississippi College (2005).
During his time at Mississippi College, Landon was a Dean's List Scholar, named "Who's Who Among American Universities & Colleges," Chairman of the Campus Activities Board, and served on multiple committees such as the Student Government Association Executive Council.
Landon launched "The Juicee News" from his dorm room on September 28, 2001. He did so after losing contact with high school and hometown friends. The site was renamed JuiceeNewsDaily.com after the site was purchased on December 1, 2001.
The original purpose of the site was simply to unite friends separated by distance. The site quickly developed into a one-stop news sources for citizens of Alabama. JuiceeNewsDaily is now read worldwide by over 500,000 people a year.
Landon has been quoted by multiple news websites and media outlets. Landon is currently working on multiple projects, both for himself and others, most of which you will hopefully see on the web in the near future.
