We just saw John Edwards
in Greensboro, NC! Damn, he was great. Really on target. We took my 10 and 7 year old sons. What a thrill (also a great performance by the NC A&T band).

3. It was packed...
I heard that it was limited to 1000 tickets - but it was packed. I would guess at least twice that many! It was a beautiful night and a great crowd. Best of all, Elaine Marshall, the NC Secretary of State, sang "Happy Birthday" to my 7 year old when we met with her after JE's speech.

2. Did he throw any hardballs at Crashcart?
Enquiring minds want to know.

I saw the A&T band in Charlotte once. They were outstanding.

4. We were ten feet from the band.
A group of Firemen for Kerry let my boys go up in front so they could see the band. Great show--lots of energy.

6. He was all over Darth Halliburton!
He started off by stating that 3 years ago he sat at a table with Cheney, shook his hand, and spoke with him, but Cheney did not remember. Last night he sat at a table with Cheney, shook his hand, and spoke with him again. JE wowed the crowd by stating that he did not think Chaney would forget this meeting!

15. Oh great! what a great comeback from our new Vice
President in waiting. I wish I could have seen that, alas, I doubt the media will cover that little rather telling response to Chen's lack of memory recall concering himself...

10. How did your sons like it?
We saw them in PA a while back and took my 11 year old son and he hasn't let up about politics since. I seriously think taking him to their rally has changed his life forever.

17. We took the boys picture with Elaine Marshall
I promised to email a copy to her.

This is an especially important election to us because my older son has had catastrophic health problems and we just learned that he may lose his supplemental medicaid. I guess children with health problems are not a priority in W's America. Ironlically, most of his health problems resulted from malpractice he suffered in Wisconsin while Tommy Thompson was the governer of the state. Now TT is doing to the country what his hospital did to my son...

27. Funny you should mention that...
My son asked me yesterday to email them to tell them he'd be happy to volunteer to do a commercial for them. An 11 year old boy saying, "Come on, America, if I can see through the lies, why can't you..."

16. They loved it.
I took my older son to see Kerry and Edwards in Raleigh this summer and he has talked about it non-stop. The little one really wanted to go this time. It is great to see them so excited and asking so many questions.

25. Just wondering,
you don't have to say of course, but what type of question's did the little kids ask? I think it's great they let them ask question's.

28. Isn't that great?
I'm so proud of our young people. I told my son the other day after watching F911 that his generation is what gives me hope because they'll be the ones who will end up having to get us out of this mess.

21. We weren't far away, but we
were far to JE's left. Somewhat hard to see and get pictures with the floodlights in the background. He is a damn fine speaker. I appreciate that so much of his message is positive and focused on what he and JK plan to do.
