How the media will spin Friday in favor of * |
|
I really doubt Bush will do as bad Friday as he did last time (hope I'm wrong). So - the media will spin it this way. "Bush is doing much better while Kerry is still the same." Watch out for that.

1. If Bush gets through the debate without peeing his pants... |
|
the media will declare it a victory.

2. People are not happy with Bush on domestic issues. |
|
Bush may have his work cut out for him. I don't think Kerry will get arrogant so he should be able to beat Bush. Though, I am extremely uneasy about Charlie Gibson moderating this debate.

3. bush was his usual folksy self, he's much more comfortable interacting... |
|
...with an audience than standing in a stiff, formal debating arrangement. Truly, he is a man of the people. You would probably like to have a beer with him more than his opponent. Coincidentally, here is a beer commercial.

Bush hates to go out infront of an audience which is not handpicked freeper types who worship him. Real Americans scare him

8. the spin, man, think of the SPIN |
|
We're not talking about reality here. The whole "I'd like to have a beer with bush" is spin, because he's a dry drunk who ostensibly needs to stay far away from beer for everyone's safety. But they play it up anyway. And if you think Charlie Gibson is going to let any of the un-worshipful non-freepers ask bush a tough question on Friday, you've sure got more faith in media whores than I do.

4. he'll give a few good answers |

bomb on the rest, and Kerry will dominate.
So Rep. partisans will pretend the meeting was all about whatever Jr does good on. The rest of the questions will be "partisan attacks" from Kerry plants, I'm sure.

7. "How has recession affected you personally?" |
|
Remember how out of touch Bush1 seemed when the woman asked him that question (actuall, she said "deficit")? This guy won't sound any better trying to pretend to care about people without health care. He may or may not do better with "Why did my son have to die?"

11. The media tried to spin Edwards' debate to no avail |

We are stronger than the spin machine by now. Tweety knows that it is useless to make someone the winner.
