Bush will lose the election this Friday
Like it or not, Cheney is a tough old SOB who can hold his own. He is not a lightweight. the debate with Edwards was really tough. Bush, however, is a joke. He looks like a deer in headlights when he gets a tough question.

I cannot wait for Kerry to mop the floor with Bush. It will be a massacre

3. Kerry must put the pressure on Bush to show his true face again
I hope Kerry's softball advisers aren't telling him to go soft, to take the "high road" like they did for the Dem convention.

It is time to put this thing in high gear and never look back.

If Bush takes another hit like he did last Thursday, it will be almost impossible for him to win the last debate, and a debate sweep for the contender against a sitting president would make it almost impossible for Bush to win the election.

What I am worried about is that Bush comes out with his folksy act like he did for the RNC. Bush is best when he combines the "down home" demeanor and manages to sound coherent. It's still no match for Kerry on his best day, but it could give Bush a respectable tie. Bush will come with a game plan, and the key, IMO, is for Kerry to force Bush out of his fake persona, force him to show his true petulant, whiny, spoiled nature like he did in the last debate.

4. Is it true Bush spent the debate day in Florida visiting hurricane
victims? That is the repug spin for him being looking tired at the debate.

5. I think Bush knows the election is his
October surprise, stolen election, whatever. And he sees these debates as a waste of his time and is resentful because the boy just doesn't have an original thought in that tiny pinhead.

6. Charlie Gibson will try to make that not happen
he will attempt to make the whole debate be about Kerry's record.

Bush will be more practised and have new catchlines to parrot. This will not be a walk, don't kid yourself.

Kerry can handle defending his record. If we don't let Bush up off the floor and keep the national discussion where it should be (on his lies and incompetence), the election is over.
